Our client is currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, strong familiarity with accounting software (especially QuickBooks), and a solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day financial records and ensure accuracy across all transactions
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Post journal entries and manage general ledger adjustments
• Record asset acquisitions, dispositions, and ownership changes
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting and audit preparation as needed
• Communicate with internal stakeholders or vendors regarding invoices, payments, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting procedures and internal controls

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
